New Characters in Version 6.2

Here are the new characters that are coming out in 6.2:

Durin: The Dragon Reborn

Durin is the main character of this update. He’s a 5-star Pyro sword user from Mondstadt. Players have been waiting for him for a long time, and he’s finally coming to the game. Durin works best when you keep him off the field, but he can also make your team stronger.

His skill gives your whole team Pyro power and attack boosts that last a while. This makes him useful for any team setup. His burst attack creates a big Pyro area that makes reaction damage better and keeps dealing damage over time. This makes him great for Vaporize teams or any team that uses elemental reactions.

Jahoda: The Anemo Support

Jahoda is a new 4-star Anemo bow user who focuses on healing and helping the team. Her moves bring the Luna Swirl trick, a new take on normal Anemo reactions that only works in Nod-Krai areas.

When you use her skill, she runs around and collects elements from nearby enemies who have elements on them. When her bottle is full, it shoots attacks using that stored element every two seconds for 20 seconds.

Her burst attack calls two helpers that heal your team. The healing has a bonus: when a healed character’s HP goes over 70%, they get 100 Elemental Mastery for six seconds. This gives you good chances to trigger strong elemental reactions.

Banner Schedule

Phase 5-Star Characters 4-Star Characters How Long
Phase 1 Durin, Neuvillette Jahoda, Others TBA About 20-21 days
Phase 2 Venti, Varesa Jahoda, Others TBA About 20-21 days

Phase 1 has Durin’s first appearance along with Neuvillette coming back. Phase 2 brings back popular characters Venti and Varesa. Xilonen should also show up during this update. Since Jahoda appears in both phases, players get more chances to pull for her and get copies.

Character Buffs and the Hexenzirkel System

Seven old Mondstadt characters are getting big improvements in version 6.2. These characters are all part of the Hexenzirkel group, and their power boosts connect to this. The buffed characters are:

  • Albedo
  • Fischl
  • Klee
  • Mona
  • Razor
  • Sucrose
  • Venti

These power boosts turn on after you finish a new quest called The Witch’s Coursework. But there’s a catch to it. The boosts only work when you have at least two Hexenzirkel members on the same team. This pushes players to use these characters together for the best results.

Klee gets big changes to her burst, with her third normal attack during burst dealing better damage. Mona’s boosts make her Star Wing last longer and raise her damage by 30%. Venti’s burst cooldown goes down to six seconds, making him even better for pulling enemies together and helping with reactions.

New Weapons

Three new weapons come with version 6.2:

Black Erosion is a 5-star sword that makes burst damage stronger. After you use a burst, it gives the Daylight Blade boost, raising damage for three seconds. When your team has the Arcane Rite effect on, the Daylight Blade bonus goes up by 75%.

The Dawn of the Distant Hymn is a 5-star bow that gives the Risen Dawnwind effect. Your attacks and burst get better after you stay out of fights for three seconds.

A third weapon has been talked about in leaks but full details are still being checked.

Story and Quest Content

Version 6.2 keeps going with the Song of the Welkin Moon story, with the Traveler and Paimon checking out more of the Nod-Krai islands. The update has two new Archon Quest acts, just like version 6.1. Important characters Nicole and Alice will show up in cutscenes during this update. You can also go into a domain of Hyperborea, adding new places to find. The story looks at the Hexenzirkel group and how they connect to the area’s secrets.

Events and Activities

Windtrace comes back in version 6.2, the fun hide-and-seek event where players split into Rebels and a Hunter. Rebels must hide and not get caught while the Hunter tries to catch everyone. Rebels win if they beat the Hunter, while the Hunter gets points by catching Rebels.

A new snowy mountain event will also start, though exact details are still coming out. The update will have many limited-time events giving primogems, character materials, and special rewards.
